6 examples of car/football promo

citroen c4 promo.

the concept of this promo is to give a comical aspect to citroen and make it more appealing and  interested when watching the advert.

music: Les Rythmes Digitales - Jacques Your Body (Make Me Sweat)

sound fx: the sound effects are what you would expect from transforming robot car hydraulics, metal, thuds where the car hits the ground

location: the location is a basic car park possible America the place where you would normally find a car they may have done this to make it more realistic to the viewer instead of filming on a backdrop that wouldn't be believable.

visual effects: the visual effects used in this promo have to be near to realistic as the budget can afford to make the advert work as it relies on people believing cars do dance.

voice overs: there is a small piece of dialogue in this advert right at the end to give the information needed to the audience.

peugeot 206 promo.

The concept behind this promo is to make the peugeot desirable the character has seen a opatunty to transform his old car into a cooler car. you see the transformation from him having the idea right throw to him driving a modified car at the end some of the camera angles are used to show him following throw with his idea the closeups of the character as he is reversing the car into the wall and the look he has when he knows its working witch still keeps the audience in suspense just exactly  what he is doing.
in this promo there are several close ups which are common in most car adverts  and quick cuts for example him working on the on the car making dents and reshaping this is a montage where they show the charter doing serval things at once without spending to much time on it.

vauxhall promo.

The concept behind this advert is to suggest that the company vauxhall does not just support there home team the support the nation in this case england. the advert itself does not feature a actual vauxhall car as the focal point but has the end titles and various logo as the camera takes you throw the city to the stadium.
the camera takes you along a short journey passing supports standing as though someone is passing them  bye in this case its probably meant to be the car the use of a dolly and crane are used throughout as nearly all the shots are moving not static.
music:the use of music  starts at around 0:04 where they begin to play What a life - Noel Gallagher which before this there was just ambient sounds.
In the line up at the end of the advert there is the most resent and popular football characters around today which is a massive endorsement

the concept behind the adidas world cup ad is to over dramatise the game of football the use of cinematic shots and music gives the audience a film trailer experience.the advert uses quick cuts and dips to black to show several different places at onces in a short space of time it also uses some of the top footballers today to indorse the advert. its quick paced and flows with the music.

the first shot is of a popular character from a a massive franchise (star wars) the opening shot is low as it tracks the character down a hallway the shot is low to sugget the power of the character making him look bigger by the first shot we realise that it is in fact a small child we see the character around his house trying to use the force and failing are then introduce to a Volkswagen  the character runs to the car and attempts to use the force again but this time it works which shocks the child.the whole idea behind it is to suggest the technology of the new Volkswagen as we see with a close up of the car key as the dad locks his car from inside.the use of music also gives the audience the feeling of the force.

the concept behind the avert is to  suggest  that Fifa 10 unites people all around the world we hear this from the narration as begins to speak. at the beginning the shots are slow and is almost like a warm before a actual football game.the music is fast pace and quick which the shots are edited to .there is a combination of live action and some fx shots
