i researched lots of different short 2 to 3 min videos on vimeo which were all shot differently.
for my first vimeo short project i will be researching different types of documentary style films on youtube our vimeo to get an idea of what the short should look like.
i will also be researching elvaston castle which is an 11th century estate which was owned by different types of owners one of the first was said to be sir thomas hanselin. the estate has been a place for tourist and locals to go around since 1970.but since 2004 the lack of visitor and dwindling finances is gradually falling to decline.for one of my video i have an idea of showing maybe the past our some of my home videos when me and my family used to go when i was a child and how it used to be full of people enjoying it and now how there struggling to keep it running and peoples views on the matter.my next idea for a video is almost the same concept but instead of looking at the issue of the castle decline i would look at its history and the sightings of the paranormal people have said to have seen.my last idea is more about derby town asking people about it way the like our dislike the town and maybe history about the iconic buildings our places in derby.
