very clever ad it confused me for a second when they were paused but it made sense at the end. music fade in could be more subtle but all in all nicely done
i really liked this advert. it was well shot and i liked the range of shots and the focus on the peoples eyes. the subject is a bit risky of people in the woods with guns and will probably be banned but i liked how it was still game like with the explosions being put in in post and not looking very realistic. the cut to the person at the end works well to solve the confusion of the pause bit. the only thing don't like is the colour, it is a bit orange in the house and the woods bit could have been made to look a bit more surreal.
I enjoyed the advert and how it simulated a video game, the use of DOF made the video more surprising and added suspense. the twist at the end was very good as it completed the storyline for the advert.
a very good advert. I do like the zooms from the grenade and the soilder's eyes and faces. It's very like call of duty and a good try with the effects of the gun fire and sound noises. I was a bit confused about the pause bit but then it did make sense at the end, love the ending very clever. You could have two people playing the xbox, it will be alot understand of the two soilders because u pause on both of them, which online you weren't have done that or even story line. but still good - well done
